RTS´ 15 years´ experience in automated bakery pan and tin strap handling, storage and retrieval has seen our installations in over 30 bakeries, including some of the busiest modern plant bakeries in the UK.

 

Key features include the elimination of tin damage to reduce the high material costs associated with manual handling, improvement in health and safety in hot, noisy environments and, a reduction in labour costs.

 

Most solutions are based on RTS´ small footprint gantry systems with compliant magnetic grippers that can be configured to any pan type. This delivers a high performance, very robust and compact design, with low maintenance requirements, and which can be easily retrofitted into existing plant. Where head space is tight, or for certain plant configurations, alternative robot designs have been successfully deployed using the same gripper technology.

 

Our CE marked systems are easy to clean and maintain, have high reliability, are compliant, and operate independently and automatically with very user-friendly software.

 

In addition to bakery tin and strap handling, RTS offers flexible pick and place handling robotics for bakery goods in packaging applications which combine high-speed operation with excellent reliability for consistently high volume throughput and low wastage.
