Prototyping
Although simulation studies provide a cost-effective process to equipment prototyping, the performance of the gripper or end effector as a key element remains one area where physical trials under production conditions are essential.
At the interface between the robot and the product, experience and the pursuit of perfection in handling the product are essential to efficient throughput and minimal damage or wastage.
With extensive experience across a diverse range of industries, RTS´ gripper prototyping studio has amassed a library of over 600 designs of grippers and end effectors. As well as this unique application knowledge bank, our analytical and application skills enable us to devise quick and creative solutions to gripping and holding problems, from delicate and minute medical or pharmaceutical products to awkwardly shaped items, fragile foodstuffs and heavy, hot and dirty objects.
